I read Distant Thunders a while ago, shortly after it was first released. I had a feeling those Imperials would be trouble especially the not so honorable Company. Can’t wait for the Rising Tides!!!

Dangling participles are noun modifiers placed in the wrong part of the sentence causing confusion. Such as “After being whipped fiercely, the cook boiled the egg.”

This doesn’t bother me as much as the almost common use of the expression “to try and” as opposed to the way I learned it “to try to”. The only thing constant is that the language keeps changing.

In any event, I’m anxiously awaiting the next Destroyermen novel.

Started the first book a little over a week ago and I’m now more than 1/2 way through book 4. Wow! A tremendous series and my favorite type of SciFi. Keep up the good work and how long before book 5?
