Back Up!
Back up!
Well folks, it’s almost time for “Maelstrom” to be out, and I look forward to your comments on that, or any of the DESTROYERMEN books! I’m sorry that none of your contacts have been getting through–something frightfully electronic was to blame. I’m pretty sure the blog and contact features are now back on line. I apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused. One of the biggest tragedies is that a lot of your blog comments have been lost. Some were classics, and highly entertaining. I invite you to try to recreate them if you can. In the meantime, I don’t know what happened–entirely–but I think it’s fixed. Take care, and I hope to hear from you soon!

Naw, that wouldn’t work. The Super Guineas would eat Happy on the first page, and they’d live “happily” ever after. I guess I could flesh it out with nasty stuff they do to him before they eat him . . .
I still haven’t finished the first book yet, but my dad has and he said it was great and that you had really done your homework. I can’t wait for your fourth book “Happy Verses the Super Guineas”
Love and Artillery,

I read Destroyermen: Into the Storm last fall and was blown away. I have always enjoyed reading science fiction and historical fiction as well as pure history…and this book embraced all of that! I was impressed with Mr Anderson’s ability to weave a plausible story in an implausible senario, a rare skill, indeed. Mr Anderson’s attention to detail, WWII history and even geography makes the book more believable and, thus, more enjoyable. I read the book almost without putting it down. It was that good.
I enthusastically recommended the book to anybody who expressed just a glimmer of interest. I even loaned my copy to a friend and bought a copy for my brother’s Christmas present.
I have already ordered copies of the remaining books in the trilogy and wholeheartedly recommend that others do so. I can’t imagine that anyone interested in the genre would be disappointed.
I’m looking forward to Maelstrom. I’m anxious to see if the crew of the Amagi can get their heads out of their butts in time to save the day!
Good to hear from you, Eben! That IS one of the big questions, isn’t it???
